A. Chris Eslami

CEO and Co-Founder

As CEO, my main goal is to advance the Morphbots mission of robotics literacy into more K12 schools around the US. I have a firm belief that education is the key to progress. If all students can have access to STEM and robotics education now, this generation will flourish. The DNA of Morphbots is to make robotics cool and easy to begin. We believe most people will own a robot by 2050, so robotics literacy makes perfect sense. On my off time, I like to travel around the world and connect with new people.

Alan Jackson

Chief Technical Officer

As Chief Technical Officer my role is to facilitate meeting the needs of students for STEM. I assembled the first set of kits sent to students. I design new items for new kits. I design and construct prototypes that will become new products.
MorphBots is special because it complements traditional teaching. The information we get from books and the internet is valuable but working with electronic parts provides a unique tactile experience.
Making the experience fun for students motivates them to continue to pursue technology related topics in their education and employment.
I have experienced first hand the value of tactile learning – having grown up with electronics and mechanics. I just loved working in the workshop with my dad. I would put together some parts to make a gadget and then it would start moving around. Instant gratification.

Alex Games

Playful Learning Science Advisor

As Playful Learning Science advisor, my role is to help ensure that the Morphbots robotics educational experiences are built on principles grounded on evidence from the science of human learning.
Play is a powerful process by which humans can leverage our natural curiosity to explore new knowledge areas, practice new skills, and develop strategies to persist in tackling complex problems.
I believe Robotics education can provide students with powerful STEM tools, knowledge and skills to help them navigate the complex challenges facing a world where automation, AI, and electronics continue to play an increasing role in human lives.
By combining play and Robotics education, Morphbots aims to provide students everywhere with an engaging, effective way to access those skills and open new opportunities for them beyond the classroom.
As a learning scientist and a father, I am passionate about developing innovative approaches to making STEM learning more fun, accesible and equitable for all students. In my off-time I love to spend time with my family doing outdoors activities, and with my two cats.

Sudarshan Narayan

Advisor

As advisor, my main goal is to advance the Morphbots vision i.e. democratizing robotics education in the US and the world. I have a firm belief that robotics education today is the doorway to a prosperous tomorrow. If all students can have access to STEM and robotics education now, this generation will flourish. The DNA of Morphbots is to make robotics cool, easy to begin and most importantly affordable. On my off time, I like to spend time with my family, mentor startups, travel, play tennis, and listen to/collect rare heavy metal albums.
